Routine Podiatry appointment/General Consultation
What’s included: Routine Podiatry appointments are the most popular session type that people like to get themselves booked in for. In the session, I assess your feet from a medical/Podiatric perspective and I will discuss and advise accordingly. This is also the appropriate session to book if you wish to have your toenails cut, any hard skin/or corns removed, or if you have any general queries or questions about your feet! The appointment is around 30 min long but if you think you’ll require an extended one (45 min) please let me know!
Price starts from £85 depending on session time (30/45 min) and location (primary/secondary catchment area).
dIABETIC FOOT CHECK
What’s included: If you have either type 1 or type 2 diabetes, it is important that you see a Podiatrist at least once a year to have your feet checked. During this session, a full diabetic foot assessment is carried out and we will discuss the outcome and findings. In addition to this, we will also carry out a routine Podiatry session/Foot MOT! (see above). After your appointment, both you and your GP will receive a written report documenting the outcome of your diabetic foot check and any suggestions/appropriate referrals (if need be).
Price starts at £100 depending on your location (primary/secondary catchment area).
Ingrown toenail (non surgical)
What’s included: Conservative (non-surgical) treatment of ingrowing toenails is a simple case of having a sliver of nail removed to relieve the individual of the discomfort or pain that it is causing. There is very little - no pain involved in the appointment itself, but can be somewhat sore for a couple days after as the toe heals. Patients often experience immediate relief once the aggravating nail spike is removed!
Price starts from £85 depending on location (primary/secondary catchment area).
INGROWN TOENAIL (SURGICAL)
What’s included: Surgical intervention is sometimes required if A) conservative measures fail or B) the ingrown nail is so bad that it’s past the point of conservative management. Either a Partial Nail Avulsion (PNA) or a Total Nail Avulsion (TNA) may be required depending on your case. In short, the toe is numbed with a local anaesthetic and the offending section of nail is removed and its’ root cauterised (so the problem doesn’t grow back). It has a fantastic success rate of 98% and many patients with persistent ingrowing toenails now live pain free thanks to this procedure. Please note: This is a surgical procedure and is therefore not offered as a home visit (unless there are extenuating circumstances). The clinic is located in Radlett (WD7).
Price of the procedure is £380 (including all necessary follow-ups) and an additional £100 is charged per extra toe.
vERRUCAe
What’s included: Verrucae and warts can present themselves a variety of different ways. Because of this, not all treatments listed below might be the appropriate one for you. In the first appointment, we assess the verruca/wart and implement a treatment plan that is A) appropriate for the verruca and B) is suitable for your lifestyle. Success rates may vary depending on the treatment and stubbornness of the virus, and may require more than one treatment to reach the desired outcome.
